Beschreibung

• Assist the Director of Tutoring Services in managing tutoring services for the K12 Tutoring department • Conduct tutoring-session observations, provide tutor feedback and coaching, and monitor tutor ratings and customer feedback • Ensure tutor availability, profiles, session acceptance, and completion meet community guidelines • Participate in tutor onboarding and training, including reviewing teaching certificates and profile submissions and assessing platform performance • Assist with scheduling and staffing tutoring sessions and inform staffing plans and tutor capacity • Answer tutor questions via shared inbox and tutor community, including inbox shifts during the week • Develop and curate curriculum resources aligned with state standards, curricula, and district partnership expectations • Partner with the customer success team to support school partners and provide tutoring-session feedback and student outcome data • Assist with student-outcome measures, data collection, student performance analysis, and program recommendations • Collaborate with tutoring leadership to design and implement customer-focused tutoring practices • Build tutor community through communication, drop-in sessions, professional development, and engagement initiatives • Respond to customer support inquiries and cases • Participate in marketing initiatives • Recommend product improvements, provide design input, and assist with tutor-platform troubleshooting • Provide general leadership and participate in team-objective development • Cultivate a collaborative environment focused on communication, innovation, and instructional best practices • Review tutor-performance reports and create actionable plans to address deficiencies and replicate successes • Provide regular feedback to the Director regarding instructional quality, tutor metrics, efficiencies, reporting needs, and product improvements • Attend departmental and requested client meetings • Monitor compliance with accountability measures • Contribute to industry thought leadership through pilot programs, conferences, and online-learning literature • Indirectly supervise 200–300 independent contractors for service-delivery quality assurance • Carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, appraising session quality, addressing complaints, and resolving problems • Meet professional obligations, deadlines, schedules, and coordination requirements

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s Degree • 3 or more years of experience in a Virtual School in a Supervisory-level role or as an Assistant Principal or Principal position, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Ability to work with and through people to establish goals, objectives, and action plans • Strong knowledge of instructional and educational leadership strategies, online instructional design theories, and learning style theories • Highly organized with the ability to coordinate complex programs and processes • Works effectively as a team member and leader • Employs innovative problem-solving techniques to accomplish objectives • Ability to travel 10% of the time • Ability to clear required background check • Valid state license required • Master’s Degree preferred • Valid Professional Educational Leadership Certificate preferred • Demonstrated experience in supervision, training, and development of teachers preferred • Knowledge of technical systems used within the organization preferred • May require occasional evening hours
