Beschreibung

• Work with the “At-Risk” student population to provide remediation supporting academic goals and increasing growth • Modify and/or adapt the K12 curriculum in alignment with state content standards to meet each student's unique needs • Collaborate with general education teachers through individualized and small group sessions • Educate parents on instructional strategies • Ensure implementation of the RTI instructional system to increase student achievement • Oversee data collection and progress monitoring at every tier • Use data to help teachers plan whole- and small-group instruction • Provide guidance on identifying and grouping students needing additional help • Collect and maintain RTI data, including eligible-student lists and intervention plans • Serve as a daily RTI resource to school administrators, leadership teams, and stakeholders • Collaborate with teachers, advisors, counselors, and district personnel to coordinate and track Tier 2 interventions • Provide ongoing RTI training and support to school/district staff • Support teachers in documenting student progress • Work with the special education team to facilitate special education eligibility • Travel up to 20% for face-to-face professional development, student testing, and/or as required by the school

🎯 Anforderungen

• North Carolina Teaching Certification Required • Must reside in North Carolina • Bachelor's degree • Active state teaching license • Ability to clear required background check • Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week • Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during the workday, typically 9-5 or 8-4, or as defined by the school • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data and use it to drive instructional decisions • Receptive to receiving coaching regularly with administrators and teacher trainers • Ability to embrace change and adapt to ensure excellent student outcomes • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint • Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms • Ability to maintain teacher certification/professional development hours and fluency in K12 systems, programs, and curriculum
