Beschreibung

• Manage the Revenue Cycle Services team providing claims, payments, credit balance, insurance reimbursement, denials, coding, systems, third-party management, and self-pay management services • Manage day-to-day operations by delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and evaluating work for timeliness, quality, and compliance • Manage budgeting, forecasting, client financial management, and human resources • Administer and document personnel actions including hiring, training, coaching, discipline, corrective action, pay changes, appraisals, and promotions • Develop team member capabilities through guidance and mentoring • Assess services, identify problems, analyze data, and propose solutions • Develop new processes and improve existing processes • Enforce guidelines and procedures to meet objectives and regulatory requirements • Resolve escalated issues using subject matter expertise • Monitor customer satisfaction and recommend service improvements • Support development of a successful customer base • Translate business strategies into marketable, billable services • Partner with sales to acquire new clients and promote services to current clients • Stay current on trends, regulations, best practices, and Revenue Cycle practices • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Accounting, Math, Business or related fields; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Substantial experience in revenue cycle management, including some prior personnel and budget management • 5+ years of experience with EHR applications • Broad knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle, including multiple types of billing, coding, and reimbursement models • Complete understanding of laws and regulations affecting healthcare revenue cycle • Solid understanding of EHR revenue cycle modules • Solid understanding of department operations • Recognized as a subject matter expert in medical billing, claims, denials, etc. • W2 project-based consultants must provide a computing device adhering to industry standards and security best practices • Reliable internet access and sufficient internet speed • Business development, client services or business operations background (preferred)
