Beschreibung

• Design and develop new systems and enhancements to existing systems • Break down complex problems and build efficient solutions • Gather requirements with product teams and create design documents • Design and develop high-traffic, large-scale full-stack applications spanning front-end UI, web/API services, data models, data flows, and deployment infrastructure • Develop monitoring, alerting, automated build and deployment, and application performance systems • Ensure test coverage, enterprise standards, target architecture, high availability, scalability, low latency, and fault tolerance • Create system and process documentation, onboarding checklists, overviews, runbooks, troubleshooting guidance, and improvement recommendations • Lead solution design discussions and evaluate tools and technologies • Lead development teams by guiding and mentoring team members and reviewing code • Own day-to-day project delivery, participate in Agile stand-ups, escalate blockers, and communicate timelines and updates • Shape technical standards and practices beyond the immediate team • Influence technical strategy and roadmaps with Tech Leads, architects, product teams, and senior stakeholders • Drive reusable engineering patterns and improvements across related teams • Represent the team in cross-functional technical decisions

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field • Proficiency in one or more of Java, TypeScript, and NodeJS, with willingness to learn the others • Proven experience building high-traffic web applications and deploying them to production • Experience with cloud-based platforms, preferably AWS • Experience supporting live applications, debugging, reading logs, and using Grafana/AWS CloudWatch dashboards • Experience writing SQL queries and working with SQL databases such as MySQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm • Experience with code and build tools including GitLab, CI/CD, Jenkins, and Sonar • Experience working in an Agile team • Ability to handle production issues and provide on-call support • Ability to work under pressure • Calm personality and ability to see the big picture • Strong verbal communication and ability to clearly communicate ideas and work status • Documentation skills using Confluence, a wiki, or similar • Ability to manage time, deliver work on time, evaluate, and estimate work • Ability to work with technical and product teams and manage expectations • Experience running teams day to day, without people management • UI design experience, entertainment/online ticketing experience, familiarity with diverse cultural and regulatory environments, and AI usage in the SDLC are nice to have
