Beschreibung

• Build and configure AWS environments from engineer-provided designs, templates, and checklists • Support prototypes, proofs of concept, and minimum viable products • Learn and apply AWS lab standards for compute, storage, networking, and identity and access management • Deploy vendor and open-source security, identity, data, and AI technologies for technical review • Prepare test environments, sample data, and basic validation scripts • Automate small lab tasks with scripting and learn infrastructure as code tools • Document build steps, configurations, and lessons learned • Track and report resource usage and costs; shut down unneeded resources • Troubleshoot environment issues and escalate blockers • Observe meetings, technical reviews, and vendor briefings; prepare notes • Complete and present an internship capstone project • Work only within approved lab accounts under R&D engineer-owned security, access, and cost controls • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• Enrollment in the Junior or Senior year of an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university • Pursuing computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, cloud computing, or a related field • Fundamental understanding of cloud computing concepts, including virtualization, storage, networking, and the shared responsibility model • Basic familiarity with Linux, the command line, and at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell • Excellent technical documentation and artifact creation skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better • Ability to work independently and accept direction • Willingness to learn new technologies and ask questions early • Self-motivated, customer-minded, and eager to help people • Enthusiasm for technical problem solving, attention to detail, and strong communication skills • Availability to work 40 hours per week throughout the internship
