Beschreibung

• Design high-voltage (69kV–500kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD • Apply advanced engineering techniques, theory, precepts and practices to complex project assignments • Adapt and modify standard techniques to solve multifaceted problems • Provide expert consultation for technical plans and systems used in high-voltage transmission-line construction • Facilitate collaboration among disciplines and project team members • Act as client contact to determine project scope and understand requirements • Develop transmission-line construction documents • Produce project design criteria, plan and profile drawings, structure framing and loading drawings, assembly drawings, structure foundation drawings and construction specifications • Coordinate specific design aspects of projects • Estimate construction costs and specify materials • Review project drawings, calculations and specifications • Train and mentor less experienced engineers • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school • Minimum of 4 years’ engineering experience required • Minimum of 3 years of Transmission Line Engineering or related experience required • PE license or ability to acquire within 6 months is highly preferred • Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE preferred • Previous experience working with or for a Utility highly preferred • Ability to work permanently in the US • Maintains positive client relationships • Independently completes assigned tasks • Actively manages individual workload • Effectively assists in training and mentoring team members • Must be analytical and self-motivated • Ability to work in a team environment and a variety of situations • Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Proven experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and AutoCAD preferred • Proficiency in MFAD/LPILE preferred • Ability and drive to mentor less experienced engineers • Openness to innovation and applying evolving technology and AI tools
