Beschreibung

• Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to translate business initiatives into technical requirements • Develop customer-facing and internal APIs for fast querying of large datasets • Build applications that deliver required functionality while following development and testing best practices • Develop unit, integration, and runtime tests • Design and maintain the large Snowflake data lake powering the APIs • Design database tables and write efficient SQL queries for short API response times • Create internal and external documentation, including customer onboarding documentation • Create data, metrics, and visualizations for algorithm verification and optimization • Oversee the full application life cycle from requirements through production • Participate in the on-call rotation

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5+ years’ experience in Java 8 and higher software development with the Java Spring Framework used for REST APIs • Excellent SQL database skills, including database creation and design, table design, automated load and maintenance processes, and efficient querying • Snowflake SQL strongly preferred • Proficiency working in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and utilizing AWS services such as Amazon Elastic Container Service and AWS X-Ray • Experience processing data efficiently in JSON and GeoJSON • Proficiency in Scala, Python, or similar programming languages • Experience translating business problems into technology solutions • Experience developing multiple applications from requirements elaboration through production delivery • Generative AI proficiency for code authorship, unit testing, and debugging while adhering to security and data privacy standards • Ability to break larger projects into smaller tasks and manage multiple projects and tasks • Experience with software or engineering projects from ideation through development and production • Proficiency in Agile methodologies • Strong communication and documentation skills • Fluency in English • Ability to participate in the on-call rotation • Candidates must reside in the continental United States
