Beschreibung

• Design, build, and maintain AI agents and automated workflows for recurring FP&A tasks • Use AI across analysis, modeling, reporting, and commentary within team practices and data-handling guidelines • Use Claude to accelerate analysis, automate recurring reporting, draft variance commentary, and pressure-test assumptions • Build metric definitions, documented data lineage, and explicit calculation rules • Decide which work is automated, AI-drafted for review, or fully manual • Own and document the finance team’s versioned library of agents, prompts, skills, and calculation templates • Review AI-assisted work, validate against source data, reconcile results, and catch errors before leadership or board distribution • Enable business partners to answer their own financial questions • Own the annual budget and quarterly/monthly forecast updates • Maintain the financial model for revenue, expenses, headcount, and cash • Run scenario analysis for leadership decisions • Own monthly reporting packages, including actuals versus budget/forecast, variance analysis, and commentary • Prepare leadership and board meeting materials, metrics, and dashboards • Partner with accounting during month-end close • Own SaaS metrics and maintain consistent definitions • Analyze customer, product, and segment profitability • Build and maintain BI reports using a trusted source of data • Support Sales, Marketing, Product, and G&A with budgets and spend analysis • Partner with Data and Analytics to scope reporting needs • Evaluate costs and benefits of projects and investments • Handle ad-hoc analysis requests

🎯 Anforderungen

• A reliable instinct for when a machine-generated answer is wrong • Structured thinking and ability to break vague business questions into defined, verifiable steps • Demonstrated use of AI tools in real finance work • Experience building AI-assisted workflows, including prompt-based reporting, scripting, or connecting AI tools to finance data sources • 3–5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar analytical finance role • Experience at a SaaS or subscription business, or willingness to get up to speed on the model • Understanding of SaaS metrics including ARR, retention, churn, CAC, and LTV • Solid financial modeling and Excel/Google Sheets skills • Working knowledge of the three financial statements and subscription revenue recognition • Ability to explain financial results clearly to people outside of finance • Comfort with ERP, planning, and BI tools such as NetSuite, Cube, QuickSight, or similar • Understanding of finance and business systems and data flows; ability to scope reporting needs with Data teams • Willingness to document work so others can run it • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
