Beschreibung

• Initiate, develop and close new opportunities within the Biopharma Industry, primarily working with customer R&D, manufacturing, and business development teams • Provide product recommendations, technical support, and formulation support to customers • Enhance Univar Solutions’ position within accounts using consultative and in-depth selling at all account levels • Communicate qualitative and quantitative updates using Salesforce CRM tools • Generate industry reports, recommend corrective action, and assist with implementation • Monitor product trends and industry developments, prospect for new business, conduct sales calls, and grow the territory • Collaborate with sales and product management teams to establish new business and support existing business through coordinated team selling • Support customers during project scale-up and technical transfer • Provide technical training on product lines internally and externally • Share responsibility for achieving financial targets in assigned areas • Interpret government and regulatory requirements in the industry • Participate, network, and contribute to industry exhibitions and supplier training • Publish thought-leadership content, deliver tradeshow technical presentations, and assist with industry-specific marketing materials • Demonstrate commitment to personal and colleague safety • Manage 3 direct reports

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5+ years of experience with technical focus in the Biopharma industry with a proven record of accomplishment • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biotech or Life science required • Strong technical knowledge in Biopharma manufacturing processes, formulations, and applications • Understanding of the primary drivers of the Biopharma R&D process at a national and global level • Managerial experience is a plus; this role will manage 3 direct reports • Able to travel up to 50% of the time; travel may vary in frequency and duration • Able to work with an elevated level of autonomy and independence • Strong interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships internally and externally across a diverse network • Effective self-starter with an affinity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment • Excellent ability to understand, analyze and communicate complex scientific and technical information • Experience and ease in navigating regulated markets
