Beschreibung

• Own ARI's outward-facing product strategy and value proposition across pharma, biotech, life-sciences, and materials sciences R&D • Position Wiley's trusted content and intelligence for customers and partners • Lead the partnership and integration ecosystem and own the partnership and integration roadmap • Shape build/buy/partner decisions with engineering, product, partnerships teams, and prospective and current partners • Drive early customer wins, pilots, adoption, and a repeatable land-and-expand commercial motion • Bring R&D scientists' workflows and market insight into product, enrichment, and roadmap priorities • Feed competitive intelligence to product, data science, and engineering • Provide expert product framing in high-value customer and partner conversations • Represent ARI with customers, partners, industry conferences, and events at senior and C-suite levels • Help build, shape, and lead an expanding product function, including team development, ways of working, and product strategy

🎯 Anforderungen

• First-hand experience working within corporate R&D in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life-sciences organizations, on or alongside research teams, working with scientific data and intelligence, combined with a demonstrated product mindset • Track record of generating insight and intelligence from scientific literature and data across the R&D value chain • 10+ years of progressive experience in senior product, data-science, or scientific-innovation leadership roles, including senior-level and zero-to-one/new-market work • Experience taking products, tools, or decision systems from concept to launch as a hands-on builder and implementer • Direct, first-hand exposure to pharmaceutical or life-sciences R&D • Hands-on experience implementing GenAI and retrieval-based (RAG) solutions in a scientific or R&D context, with production tools shipped • Working familiarity with knowledge graphs, agentic AI, and APIs/integrations • Deep understanding of R&D scientists and their buyers, with credibility at senior and C-suite levels • Cross-functional integration across R&D, data/IT, and commercial functions • Strong commercial instinct and experience shaping deals, partnerships, and roadmap decisions • Comfort with ambiguity and autonomy in a scale-up • Exceptional written and verbal communication across scientific, technical, commercial, and executive audiences • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 20% • Advanced degree (PhD or MS) in a life-sciences, neuroscience, or related scientific discipline is preferred; equivalent experience considered • Depth in a therapeutic area such as neuroscience, Alzheimer's, or oncology • Experience with scientific and competitive intelligence, IP/patent-landscape analysis, or FAIR data practices • Experience building, buying, or partnering to deliver scientific data or AI products • Background in partnerships/business development, solutions, or technical pre-sales • Established network across pharma/biotech R&D and the life-sciences data ecosystem • Experience in a new business unit or scale-up where a product and commercial motion was established for the first time
