Beschreibung

• Lead the technical evolution of Yuno's APIs and payment integrations, setting architectural direction and engineering standards • Hire, mentor, coach, and develop engineers, fostering a high-performing and collaborative engineering culture • Own system and integration architecture connecting backend services and payment flows • Contribute hands-on to development, architecture decisions, and code reviews • Drive best practices in API design, testing, performance, security, and maintainability • Partner with Product, Backend, and Payments teams to align technical solutions with business and merchant needs • Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, well-documented, and capable of supporting enterprise merchants and global payment volumes • Provide engineers with technical guidance and architectural direction

🎯 Anforderungen

• Remote in Europe • 4+ years of experience • Proven experience managing and growing engineering teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management • Strong ability to drive technical decisions and manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment • Experience in payments companies, payments-related teams, or working with PSP integrations • Deep experience with payments infrastructure, including network tokens, routing, and transaction optimization • Solid hands-on backend engineering experience • Proficiency in Java, Golang, Kotlin, or similar languages • Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, APIs, and integration patterns • Experience working with SQL and relational databases • Knowledge of secure software development practices and OWASP principles • Experience setting standards for AI-assisted coding, automated testing, and code generation using LLMs and tools like Claude Code or similar • Experience delivering in agile environments and adapting processes to what actually works for the team • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Advanced proficiency in English required
