Description

• Develop accurate demand forecasts for all line items in the accountable business segment using statistical forecasting and insights from Sales, Commercial Planning, Sales Planning, Finance, and Marketing • Integrate customer insights, base business trends, promotional plans, new item volumes, plan-o-gram changes, and seasonal volume into forecasts • Improve forecast accuracy and reduce WMAPE and Bias error rates • Maintain forecasting system models, history, alerts, and data integrity • Publish a 52-week operational forecast by item and distribution center • Provide Sales and Operations teams with timely analysis, guidance, and decision-making support • Generate and publish monthly and weekly demand forecasts with assumptions and significant changes identified • Support monthly Demand meetings and incorporate feedback into forecasting processes • Document insights into forecast changes, growth rates, promotions, distribution changes, and customer insights • Perform ad hoc analyses for contingency planning • Lead cross-functional efforts to resolve demand-related issues • Lead special projects as a Demand Planning functional expert, including seasonal teams, new product launches, and continuous improvement initiatives

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor’s degree required • 3+ years of related experience required • Understanding of fundamental business management and supply chain principles and concepts • Ability to integrate multiple data sources to develop, implement, and execute timely and accurate demand forecasts • Ability to identify and evaluate opportunities and recommend solutions internally • Strong interpersonal communication skills and relationship management • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners at all levels • Ability to work within Excel, BPCS, and various PowerBI solutions • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications • Advanced proficiency with Excel • Ability to analyze customer-specific data, reporting, and analytical tools • Adaptability to fast and continuous change • Strong mathematical skills • Travel is not required
