Description

• Define and drive the long-term vision and roadmap for Airbnb search, including natural-language, conversational search, query understanding, and intelligent ranking. • Own the end-to-end guest search experience from expressed intent to finding the right option. • Partner with engineering, applied ML, and data science teams to design, prototype, and ship AI-powered search experiences. • Use quantitative analysis and A/B testing to validate improvements in relevance, conversion, and guest satisfaction. • Translate ambiguous guest problems into prioritized product requirements. • Collaborate with design and research to understand guest search behavior and identify opportunities for AI to reduce friction. • Work cross-functionally with Host-side and Trust teams to surface inventory fairly and accurately. • Communicate roadmap, results, and trade-offs to engineering partners and leadership.

🎯 Exigences

• 10+ years of consumer product management experience with end-to-end product ownership • Experience working on search, discovery, ranking, or recommendation systems strongly preferred • Excitement about applying modern AI and ML capabilities, including LLMs, semantic search, and conversational interfaces • Strong business acumen and ability to use data, research, and experimentation for product strategy and decisions • Ability to work closely with ML/data science teams and understand model-driven product trade-offs • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills across engineering, design, data science, and other cross-functional teams • User-centered mindset focused on how guests search and where they encounter friction
