Description

• Provide technical leadership within a domain-aligned cohort, guiding engineers in spec-driven, AI-assisted development • Own specification quality for complex features, addressing edge cases and non-functional requirements • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications with Product Managers and stakeholders • Lead AI-assisted implementation using tools such as Claude Code • Review AI-generated and peer code for correctness, security, performance, and architectural alignment • Validate AI-generated tests and ensure comprehensive test coverage • Drive AI workflow standards and advise on development tools and technologies • Create scalable software designs with a DevOps mindset • Design and implement REST APIs • Support and maintain UI and backend services • Lead technical decisions and own domain expertise • Mentor engineers on AI tool usage, specification writing, and code review practices • Partner with the Engineering Manager on cohort health and delivery

🎯 Exigences

• 7+ years of relevant software engineering experience • At least 2 years designing and implementing enterprise SaaS systems • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience • Firm understanding of data structures and scalable software design • Mastery of C#, C++, PHP, Java, Node.js, or a similar high-level language • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS/Sass, Angular, React, TypeScript/JavaScript, and other web technologies • Strong ability to design and implement REST APIs • Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL • Proficiency in multiple persistence technologies, including NoSQL and indexed files • Demonstrated experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar • Strong code review skills for AI-generated and human-written code • Experience mentoring engineers and translating business requirements into technical specifications • Well-honed source control skills using Git or similar • Experience with AWS, Azure, or a similar cloud platform • Preferred: experience with spec-driven, agentic AI workflows • Preferred: experience establishing AI development practices or standards across teams • Preferred: understanding of testable application design principles • Preferred: track record of advising on productivity-enhancing tools and technologies
