Description

• Promote new products and increase current product penetration within the existing customer base • Generate leads and cold call prospects • Sell value-added products into existing accounts, including custom print packaging, industrial bags, flexible packaging, clamshells, corrugated products, packaging machinery, labels, RPC labels, soaker pads and stretch wrap • Serve walk-in customers, answer questions and evaluate opportunities • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts to the operational team to maintain up-to-date inventory levels • Evaluate pricing quarterly to ensure and protect margins • Participate in industry association functions and attend industry trade shows to promote products • Develop independent distributor and sales representative relationships with management • Identify public relations opportunities • Develop marketing communications with management, including collateral, promotional items, direct mail and websites • Assist in developing new designs and projects and continuing product improvement • Work with outside vendors on new materials and innovative produce packaging solutions

🎯 Exigences

• High school diploma or equivalent required • Bachelor's degree in Professional Selling, Marketing or Business preferred • 3-5 years of outside sales experience, preferably selling packaging and labels in the produce industry • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Outstanding customer service skills • Ability to work in a team setting with a diverse group of employees, managers and outside parties • Exceptional analytical, organizational and communication skills • Acceptable mathematical skills • Effective use of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel • Significant travel is required (60%+), including overnight stays • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
