Description

• Provide tactical direction and vision to 13–17 veterinary hospital locations • Ensure high customer service and quality-of-care standards across hospitals • Uphold medical and non-medical standards and ensure legal and policy compliance • Ensure safe, clean, organized hospital environments • Assimilate new partner hospitals into CVP • Build business relationships with Practice Managers and Lead and Associate Doctors • Improve revenue, inventory, purchasing, labor, and expense outcomes • Manage P&L and provide monthly outcome reports to the Core Leadership team • Develop remediation strategies for underperforming results • Supervise facility improvement projects • Review hospital performance and financial metrics • Achieve profitable growth objectives within the assigned region • Develop fiscal, strategic, and clinical processes with hospitals • Implement marketing strategies for hospital revenue growth • Support acquisition opportunities for additional hospitals • Develop Practice Manager leadership skills and hospital engagement/accountability cultures • Forecast staffing needs and partner with Talent Acquisition on recruiting Doctors and Practice Managers • Partner with Human Resources to recruit, develop, and mentor teams • Escalate and resolve employee relations issues • Maintain scheduling and Doctor coverage • Approve continuing education and PTO time off • Manage and develop assigned Practice Managers

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience • Minimum of eight (8) years of Veterinary Practice/Management experience • Preferably three (3) years or more in multi-location management in a service industry role • Reside in the Central PA area • Prior knowledge of Veterinary Practice Management Software preferred • MS Office skills • High emotional intelligence • Analytical skills • Coaching/mentoring skills • Change management skills • Communication skills • Financial acumen • Time management skills • Ability to travel extensively, primarily by car • Ability to manage and develop assigned Practice Managers • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
