• Lead a team of Neurology Account Specialists across assigned geographies • Build an elite NAS team and lead demand generation consistent with FDA-approved indications • Develop and execute business plans to meet or exceed sales objectives • Convey complex clinical information about the therapy to customers and key stakeholders • Implement and oversee local business plans for regional objectives • Serve as primary contact for assigned key institutions • Coordinate P&T processes and manage product-access processes • Foster relationships with institutional stakeholders • Attract, hire, develop, coach, train, inspire, and performance-manage NASs • Lead and execute a successful product launch • Schedule virtual and in-person meetings with internal franchise partners • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and align with organizational objectives and Eisai values • Participate in industry congresses, medical conferences, local/regional meetings, sales, and training meetings • Lead daily activities in compliance with Eisai policies and regulations • Resolve operational conflicts and address territory and business issues • Align with the Regional Business Director on the selling model and NAS customer-facing skills • Cultivate a high-performance culture with team accountability • Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders with the AD Regional Thought Leader Liaison • Communicate business updates and launch progress to Eisai senior leaders
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (BA, BS or equivalent) required • Minimum 7 years of pharma, biotech or medical device sales • 5 years successfully hiring, developing and leading teams • Some element of buy-and-bill, diagnostics (integrated, complex), infusion, neurology, clinical/medical experience • Additional commercial function experience preferred • Built and executed comprehensive business plans • Deep understanding of healthcare ecosystems and account management • Experience working with integrated delivery networks and health systems, preferably in a biopharmaceutical manufacturer capacity • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturer compliance and regulatory requirements • Demonstrated success leading to deliver strong results and profitability • Expertise in the U.S. healthcare industry, including care delivery, market access, reimbursement, and local healthcare stakeholders • Ability to network and maintain business relationships across a multidisciplinary matrix team • Ability to operate a motor vehicle legally, safely and successfully • Valid driver’s license required • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and able to provide valid proof of vaccination as of start date, subject to applicable law • Ability to travel 80% of the time • Ability to engage in person with HCPs and other third parties regularly • May be required to complete third parties’ credentialing and/or entry requirements • Genuine empathy for patients and care partners • Experience navigating matrixed environments • Strategic thinking and adaptability in uncertain or challenging situations • Ability to lead and contribute within a diverse team • Clinical aptitude • Complex launch and/or account management experience • High professional selling ability
