Description

• Evaluate capital-related impacts of new asset classes, structured transactions, and portfolio strategies • Conduct capital impact modeling, including sensitivity and scenario analysis • Develop analytical frameworks comparing investment opportunities by capital consumption, return, risk, and liquidity • Monitor and interpret regulatory developments affecting Risk Based Capital (RBC) • Translate regulatory changes into capital impact analysis for leadership • Partner with regulatory affairs, actuarial, legal, treasury, finance, investment, and reinsurance teams • Identify capital optimization opportunities and risks arising from changes in capital frameworks, investment treatments, and industry practices • Develop and maintain risk-adjusted-return-on-capital frameworks across investments, reinsurance structures, and new business opportunities • Provide capital-efficient recommendations to senior leadership and the capital allocation governance process • Lead capital evaluation and impact modeling for proposed reinsurance transactions • Confirm desired outcomes after reinsurance transaction implementation • Improve Capital Management processes, reporting capabilities, tools, analytics, automation, and operating effectiveness • Handle ad hoc requests • Report to the VP, Head of Capital Management

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial, Business, or related field • 5+ years of relevant experience • 5+ years of professional finance experience, including capital management • 3+ years of investment-related experience • Experience evaluating or structuring complex investment transactions, including private placements, structured credit, or alternative assets • Deep knowledge of fixed income markets, structured credit, and insurance general account investment strategy • Working knowledge of reinsurance structures and regulatory capital frameworks • Strong intuitive, analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling capabilities • Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills • Ability to handle multiple complex tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment • Ability to direct a multi-departmental team toward a common goal • Expertise in improving processes and using technology to increase efficiency • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills • MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred (not required)
