Description
• Provide governance and oversight to the operations of the organization • Work collaboratively with key leaders to develop strategic plans and initiatives • Participate in fundraising efforts by giving personally and engaging donors and sponsors • Act as an advocate for FRIENDS within the community • Ensure ethical and legal fiscal management by reviewing budgets and key policies • Hire and evaluate the CEO for strong organizational leadership

• Commitment to FRIENDS’ mission • Ability to participate in strategic planning and key initiatives • Experience in fundraising or community advocacy preferred • Willingness to act as an advocate and ambassador for FRIENDS within the community • Ability to engage with community members, donors, and sponsors • Experience in oversight of budgets, audits, and policies preferred • Willingness to hire and evaluate the CEO of the organization
