Description

• Lead the packaging function across Green Thumb’s manufacturing network • Serve as operational owner of LEAN implementation across production • Own finished-good packaging execution, packaging standards, line clearance, changeovers, material readiness, and packaging quality • Lead flower packaging from bulk finished flower through retail-ready units, including fill-weight accuracy, net-weight compliance, labeling, sanitation, traceability, and yield improvement • Deploy 5S, standard work, visual management, Gemba practices, value-stream mapping, and kaizen events • Maintain a continuous-improvement pipeline with quantified savings and before/after metrics • Coach site teams on LEAN behaviors and own tiered metrics and daily management systems • Lead production scheduling expertise across the network and align packaging capacity and staffing with production schedules and S&OP demand signals • Support MRP/ROP readiness and 30/60/90-day schedule-lock discipline • Sequence packaging runs, resolve scheduling conflicts, and partner with Data to build reports and dashboards • Collaborate on quality at the source and ensure adherence to BPRs, SOPs, and GMP • Use THCVault quality data to identify defects and drive CAPA • Own label-printing operations, printer uptime, print quality, and label accuracy • Collaborate with Compliance on METRC, DOH, and state-specific packaging-labeling requirements • Lead cross-functional project tracking, initiative visibility, milestones, risks, dependencies, and sustained results using tools such as Smartsheet • Communicate progress and changes through Zipline, Teams, and Email • Lead and develop packaging leadership and process-improvement teams • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience • 4+ years of progressive manufacturing operations experience, with demonstrated ownership of packaging and/or high-volume production • Proven track record leading LEAN / continuous-improvement transformations with quantified, sustained results (OEE, changeover, scrap, throughput) • Working knowledge of production scheduling, MRP/MPS, and S&OP in a regulated or high-mix manufacturing environment • Familiarity with Batch Production Records, SOPs, GMP, and CAPA processes • Fluency with ERP/MRP (D365) and project-tracking tool • Must pass any and all required background checks • Must remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry • Must possess valid driver’s license • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age • Must be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry • Preferred: LEAN / Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) • Preferred: Multi-state or multi-site manufacturing leadership experience • Preferred: Cannabis industry experience, including METRC, BarTender, and QualityOne / Veeva Vault • Preferred: Experience standing up daily management systems and tiered metrics • Preferred: Packaging automation or equipment-qualification experience
