Description

• Report to the COO and build and scale the financial foundation of Hone • Lead company-wide FP&A, including forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, scenario modeling, and performance management cadence • Translate financial and operational signals into actionable executive decision support • Manage runway, working capital, cash planning, capital planning, fundraising strategy, and investor diligence as needed • Build and deliver board-level financial reporting packages and strategic narratives • Oversee the monthly close process and partnerships with external accounting, tax, and audit firms or internal accounting resources • Build scalable finance processes, policies, internal controls, and workflows • Own the finance systems and tooling roadmap, including planning tools, reporting automation, BI integrations, and data hygiene • Build and develop the finance function by hiring and managing talent or coordinating contractors and outsourced partners • Partner cross-functionally to embed financial rigor in day-to-day decisions

🎯 Exigences

• 10-15 years of progressive finance experience, including meaningful time in high-growth, venture-backed environments • Direct, hands-on experience scaling a finance function through multiple rounds of venture financing (Series B or later) and/or an IPO or public-company-readiness process • Experience presenting financial strategy and results directly to boards of directors, investors, or C-suite decision-makers • Experience as a senior finance leader (Head of Finance/VP Finance), owning planning and performance management end-to-end • Ability to work hands-on in financial modeling, monthly close, and finance systems while setting a 3-5 year strategic financial vision • Ability to build scalable forecasting, close, controls, reporting, and tooling processes in resource-constrained environments • Ability to roll up sleeves while setting direction and influencing executives • Strong communication and executive presence • Experience partnering with external accounting, tax, payroll, and audit providers • Experience navigating compliance and risk • Track record of managing ambiguity, prioritizing, and delivering outcomes in a dynamic environment • Experience in subscription, DTC, marketplace, or healthcare services businesses where unit economics and retention matter
