Description

• Engage directly with clients on Procurement and Supply Chain initiatives • Improve efficiency, drive effectiveness, and increase the ability to influence spend and drive organizational value • Gain experience through small one-off projects and larger, longer-duration projects • Assist and manage workstreams within client projects, including operational and opportunity assessments, strategic sourcing, spend assessments, and other procurement and supply chain consulting activities • Report to a Project Manager for each project • Conduct supply chain and procurement assessments through interviewing, modeling, analytics, and report writing • Support strategic sourcing initiatives through scoping, market and supplier research, RFx development, management and evaluation, and negotiations • Perform internal benchmarking, client research, proposal development, and other internal projects • Participate in strategic initiatives under management and Executive Leadership guidance

🎯 Exigences

• 3-6+ years of experience in procurement, either consulting or as a practitioner • 2-7+ years of previous consulting experience with top-tier consulting firms is highly preferred • Solid experience in strategic sourcing and category management • Advanced-level skills with financial assessments, data assessments, MS Excel including pivot tables, charts and graphs, and MS PowerPoint presentations • Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent from a top-tier school • Experience sourcing IT, including software, hardware, and telecom desired; indirect sourcing experience considered • Project experience working for Fortune 500 clients advising on large software contracts with major suppliers such as Microsoft, SAP, and Oracle highly valued • Technical proficiency with spend assessments and visibility tools, including creating spend assessments, establishing baseline spend, and calculating realized savings from sourcing events • Strong quantitative and presentation skills, including data analytics, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint • Ability to take direction from stakeholders at different levels and produce quality work without detailed oversight • Ability to be organized, self-starting, and a fast learner
