Description

• Support and grow the dairy young animal product portfolio • Drive product demand and build co-op relationships • Conduct up to 25 farm or facility visits weekly • Assess feeding programs and recommend Purina-backed solutions • Network across the dairy industry to share best practices and create new business opportunities • Introduce innovative feed products and programs to new and existing clients • Manage and grow an existing book of business • Build and maintain relationships with Rockingham Co-op teams and Purina experts • Develop expertise in Purina’s research, innovation, and sustainability • Organize and lead educational events and on-site demonstrations • Operate autonomously in a flexible, remote work environment • Manage territory, schedule, and customer relationships with supervisor support • Coordinate product strategy, marketing initiatives, product launches, and field events • Participate in team meetings and sales training • Implement sales strategies and collaborate with peers • Use CRM systems such as Salesforce and technology tools such as Power BI to record activities and inform business decisions

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field strongly desired • Candidates with a pending bachelor’s degree or proven sales and industry experience may be considered • 0–3 years of experience • Strong interest in Dairy Young Animal care and agricultural products • Customer service or sales support experience • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and in teams • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory • 5–10% overnight travel plus daily travel in assigned geography • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and navigate a matrix-reporting structure • Strong organization and effective time management • Relationship-building ability and leadership in team environments • Ability to make multiple daily sales calls • Ability to engage in on-farm interactions, including animal evaluations, in all weather conditions • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds • Ability to deliver effective public speaking presentations
