Description

• Provide on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of Motorola ASTRO systems • Provide technical support for specialized systems and product applications • Troubleshoot software-driven electronics • Provision communication system infrastructure and optimize RF and Broadband architecture • Maintain, optimize, test, and document complex communications systems • Administer and troubleshoot IP networks and IT environments • Install, configure, and maintain cabling, routers, switches, firewalls, and bridges • Maintain server hardware, operating systems, and software infrastructure • Resolve system and application-related issues • Provide weekly reports of activities and accomplishments • Collaborate with customers, subcontractors, sales, engineering, project management, and customer support teams • Travel internationally and domestically up to 75%–80% of the time

🎯 Exigences

• Must be a U.S. citizen • Must be capable of obtaining an acceptable adjudication of DOD Secret (T-3) clearance within 18 months of initial employment • Must complete SF86 questionnaire and fingerprinting for national security positions • Must be willing to obtain CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification within the first 12 months of employment • At least 2 years of experience in IT, networking, technician, field service, system technician/specialist, radio frequency, or land mobile radio • Permanent residence within 60 miles or less of a mid-to-large-class international airport • Ability to obtain or hold a U.S. Passport and International Drivers Permit • Ability to legally drive and rent a vehicle as needed • Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds • Basic knowledge of networking, cybersecurity principles, Active Directory administration, and LMR communications • Advanced knowledge of ASTRO core applications including UNC, PM, UEM, ESXi, IMW, KMF, HBSS, and PKI • Proficiency troubleshooting IP networks and administering IT environments • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite applications • Knowledge of LAN/WAN communications systems, cabling, routers, switches, firewalls, and bridges • Ability to maintain and troubleshoot server hardware, operating systems, and software infrastructure • Strong verbal and written communication, organization, self-management, people skills, and attention to detail • Willingness to travel internationally and domestically up to 75%–80% of the time
