Description

• Manage preparation and delivery of internal and external financial reporting, including SEC Forms 10-K and 10-Q, FDIC and Federal Reserve regulatory filings, and monthly board and management reporting • Manage preparation and delivery of earnings-related materials, including the earnings release, investor presentation support, and MD&A and financial highlights sections of SEC filings • Ensure completeness and accuracy of internal and external financial reporting • Produce variance analyses and commentary explaining performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods • Evaluate and document the impact of new accounting guidance and required disclosures for significant non-routine transactions • Support interim and year-end external audits and ongoing internal audits • Serve as primary point of contact for internal controls over financial reporting • Collaborate with management on cross-functional projects, including system implementations, reconciliation processes, and reporting for acquisitions, loan or portfolio purchases, and strategic investments • Strengthen managers’ understanding of how business-unit operational performance drives overall financial results • Manage efforts to automate and standardize internal and external financial reporting • Collaborate with department heads and executive leadership, including the Chief Accounting Officer and Chief Financial Officer, on special projects

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • Minimum of 10 years’ accounting and reporting experience • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP • Working knowledge of SEC reporting • Working knowledge of Call Report and FR Y-9C requirements • CPA preferred • Experience with bank/financial reporting preferred • Ability to understand and derive data relationships • Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities • Strong communication, data analysis and presentation skills
