NMDP est une organisation à but non lucratif (anciennement Be The Match) qui gère le registre national des donneurs de cellules souches sanguines et coordonne la thérapie cellulaire pour traiter les cancers du sang et d'autres troubles sanguins. Elle recrute et enregistre des donneurs, trouve des correspondances entre donneurs et patients, facilite les greffes, fournit un soutien aux patients et une aide financière, mène et finance des recherches et essais cliniques, et dirige des actions de sensibilisation et de collecte de fonds pour étendre l'accès aux thérapies cellulaires vitales.

Description

• Locate donors using recruitment data, alternate contacts, internet search tools, paid search engines, and social media • Educate donors, reinforce commitment and retention messages, and overcome donation barriers • Use behavioral coaching, open-ended questions, reflective listening, conversation summaries, and next-step assessment • Conduct donor health screenings and assess medical and non-medical factors for continued participation • Engage Medical Services, Provider Services, and Donor Advocacy regarding unusual donor circumstances • Coordinate blood draws, appointments, locations, kit ordering, donor/kit tracking, and follow-up forms • Complete operational activities, first-contact activities, donor updates, and documentation within required timelines and standards • Protect member confidentiality and identity • Document donor activity in STAR Link/Salesforce and complete NMDP documentation • Maintain relationships with Donor Operations, donor center staff, collaborating departments, external vendors, laboratory partners, and draw sites • Collaborate with Workup teams to ensure smooth and timely donor case handoffs • Maintain knowledge of HLA and blood stem cell transplantation • Assist with the STAR Link donor database • Provide team backup and cover general team call queues • Perform duties in compliance with NMDP standards, CFR, FDA guidance, OSHA guidelines, and applicable laws

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or a Health Care related field is required; equivalent related Health Care experience and/or education may be substituted upon evaluation • Three plus years of professional experience communicating effectively with individuals or coaching individuals on behavior change • Three years of customer relations, direct patient interaction, or care in a clinical/healthcare setting may substitute for behavioral coaching experience • Experience with basic word processing and data entry required • Knowledge of MS Office, including basic word processing, spreadsheet, and database software applications • Proficient computer skills while engaging with customers simultaneously • Advanced internet research skills, including familiarity with social media • Strong communication skills and ability to ask probing questions in a mission-driven call center environment • Ability to manage a high volume of challenging file types • Ability to use people finder tools appropriately • Proven critical thinking, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence skills • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, multimedia environment using phone, email, text, and mail • Ability to convey medical information, manage confidential information, and maintain strong documentation • Ability to complete accurate work with attention to detail and follow-through • Ability to maintain flexible work hours; evening/weekend hours may be required • Familiarity with medical terminology and advanced health screening preferred • Familiarity with obtaining informed consent preferred • Experience in a target-driven sales environment preferred • Familiarity with digital social platforms and social media applications preferred
