• Conduct proactive outreach to healthcare professionals on product access, on-label information, and established patient care guidance • Engage customers through virtual and digital tools and direct them to colleagues such as MSLs when needed • Facilitate speaker programs and organize local provider groups to discuss experiences and outcomes • Elevate opportunities, feedback, and local market insights to the Area Business Lead • Use competitive data, business reports, sales data, and promotional budgets for territory analysis and business planning • Educate office staff on payer guidelines and reimbursement procedures • Maintain awareness of ecosystem support resources and use them appropriately • Overcome objections and influence prescribing habits during office calls • Network with territory professional groups and key opinion leaders • Build relationships with office and practice personnel while focusing on patient health • Deliver balanced office calls and sales presentations using approved marketing materials and technical references • Communicate accurate product and competitive information to help HCPs enhance patient outcomes • Report to the Area Business Lead and coordinate with Medical, Market Access, and Patient Support colleagues
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience • Must reside within a commutable distance of 50 miles from the primary city in the sales territory • Previous cross-functional experience in commercial life sciences or a related industry • 4 or more years of experience working in a sales role with healthcare professionals, ideally representing multiple products • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment undergoing transformation • Proven track record in coaching, training, and mentoring peers or others • Commitment to ethical business practices and understanding of regulatory standards • Ability to execute business activities in compliance with company policies and guidance • Ability to assimilate and communicate complex clinical and product information • Knowledge of territory and business conditions affecting sales results • Ability to use competitive data, business reports, sales data, and promotional budgets • Ability to educate office staff on payer guidelines and reimbursement procedures • Ability to use approved promotional materials and technical references • Competent knowledge of own products and competition
