Description

• Serve as the senior technical contributor for the team • Partner with the Engineering Manager to set technical direction and ensure delivery excellence • Balance hands-on contribution with technical leadership • Act as the go-to person for technical decisions and architecture within the team's domain • Represent the team's technical work beyond its boundaries • Shape the team's technical roadmap, strategy, and architectural direction • Own code quality, testing, reliability, performance, and engineering standards across the team • Guide technical planning, discovery, solution design, and decision-making • Facilitate cross-team technical collaboration and contribute to engineering-wide initiatives • Act as a technical liaison • Mentor and develop engineers at any level within and beyond the team

🎯 Exigences

• Proven experience leading technical direction, making architectural decisions, and solving complex engineering problems • Deep expertise in software engineering, architecture, testing, reliability, performance, and maintainable system design • Ability to connect technical decisions to customer and business outcomes while balancing delivery with long-term technical health • Strong communication skills and ability to build consensus, influence across teams, and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Strong track record of developing engineers, working effectively with Engineering Managers and wider engineering communities, and contributing to a culture of learning and excellence • Expertise in some of the listed technologies and willingness to learn where required • Experience with AWS and GCP • Experience with Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript • Experience with Vue.js, Django Rest Framework, container-based architectures, and serverless architectures • Experience with MongoDB and DynamoDB • Experience with CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Celery, EventBridge, and DataDog
