• This role supports the Health Data Management (HDM) Sub-Product Line, providing leadership across business increment planning, technical delivery, execution oversight, and cross-functional coordination • Partner with business stakeholders to ensure work is properly prioritized, sequenced, decomposed, and ready for team execution. • Manage and coordinate technology development across teams to ensure consistent delivery during each Business Increment. • Ensure full visibility of all work across the value stream. • Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and cross-team impacts. • Improve value stream performance by removing impediments, enhancing processes, and enabling sustainable execution. • Ensure environments, teams, and technical processes are properly planned, staffed, and established. • Provide guidance ensuring compliance with VA technology policies, standards, and governance. • Maintain application-area artifacts such as schedules, risks, resource estimates, and communication plans. • Coordinate hub activities, resolve organizational obstacles, and monitor/report on progress. • Mentor and guide teams toward continual improvement while maintaining delivery focus. • Understand system components, boundaries, and technical constraints to effectively coordinate complex technical deliveries. • Performs other duties and assumes additional responsibilities as assigned in support of organizational priorities.
• Bachelor's with 15 years (or commensurate experience) • Experience supporting federal IT programs, preferably within VA OIT. • Well-versed in the VA project management methodology and other VA-related reporting methodologies. • Strong understanding of system architecture, integration points, and technical boundaries. • Solid experience with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and other collaborative tools including Teams, SharePoint, etc. • Proficiency with Agile methodologies, PI planning, backlog management, and value stream coordination. • Strong executive-level communication and reporting skills. • Willingness and ability to quickly learn new skills, new client environments, and grow domain expertise. • Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability for Public Trust clearance
