Description

• Combine 2D cadastral data, LiDAR point clouds, oblique aerial imagery, nadir satellite imagery, and other sources in a single model • Integrate image data and modern 3D reconstruction methods such as Multi-View Stereo and Gaussian Splatting into the product • Texture building models using oblique aerial imagery • Detect windows, doors, and façade elements and consistently project them onto the correct building surfaces • Implement Multi-Image Super-Resolution and Occlusion-Aware Reconstruction • Scale methods from individual buildings to millions of buildings in collaboration with Data Engineers • Identify new AI use cases in computer vision and 3D reconstruction • Use modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Copilot

🎯 Exigences

• Master’s degree in a technical discipline, such as Computer Science, Geoinformation Systems, Geoinformatics, Physics, or Mathematics • At least four years of professional or research experience in (urban) 3D reconstruction, computer vision, and photogrammetry, including the development of working products or prototypes • Strong knowledge of photogrammetry and remote sensing, including sensor and camera models, calibration, and interior and exterior orientation • Practical experience combining airborne LiDAR and aerial imagery into metrically accurate, georeferenced data • Strong background in geometric and 3D computer vision, including Structure-from-Motion, dense Multi-View Stereo, and point cloud processing • Practical experience generating building models from point clouds and imagery • Proficiency in Python as well as NumPy, SciPy, PDAL, GDAL, and OGR • Experience with version control, especially Git • Fluent English (C1 level or higher) • Experience in PropTech, architecture, or real estate is a plus • Interest in and willingness to learn about cloud technologies and AI • Experience with cloud technologies, ideally Google Cloud Platform, is a plus • German language skills are a plus
