Description

• Travel to customer sites to install, fix, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls • Use online technical documents, manuals, and vendor resources to research machine issues • Complete and submit accurate documentation to the office and customers regarding machine issues, repairs, and installations • Promote and perform preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment • Conduct after-sales technical support and training • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and company-represented product lines • Perform related duties as required • Report directly to the Service Manager

🎯 Exigences

• Strong mechanical and electrical proficiency • Demonstrated ability in mechanical/electrical repair or engineering desired • CNC repair background is a plus • Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics required • Microsoft Office and related software experience is a plus • Ability to use a laptop, smartphone, and various software applications • Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills • Ability to regularly lift 40–50 pounds and handle materials up to 50 pounds • Flexible hours and frequent travel and driving throughout a regional territory • Ability to access all areas of customer premises • Ability to concentrate and prioritize multiple tasks, responsibilities, and projects • Ability to sit for prolonged periods • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, and lift moderate- to heavyweight materials • Ability to work in tight spaces or awkward positions, including equipment interiors and elevated areas • Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for precise electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic work • Ability to work in industrial environments with noise, lubricants, coolants, metal chips, and other manufacturing conditions • Ability to consistently wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
