• Manage an assigned book of business through proactive meetings and touch points with advisors and clients, including annual plan reviews. • Provide strategic and tactical consulting to support client goals for qualified retirement plans. • Cross-sell additional products and services using a consultative approach to deepen relationships and improve profitability. • Serve as the primary escalation point for service-related issues by identifying root causes and coordinating resolution through appropriate resources. • Consult with clients and advisors on qualified plan design and interpret plan provisions to support desired outcomes. • Consult on plan enhancements and upgrades, including conversion of legacy investment contracts to newer products. • Communicate product, service, and investment enhancements, including new offerings and changes to existing solutions. • Educate clients on company processes, procedures, systems, and technology used by participants and plan sponsors. • Manage special projects as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business related field or equivalent experience. • FINRA series 6, 63, and required life insurance licenses, or obtain within six months. • Seven years of client management experience. • Advanced knowledge of retirement programs and subject matter expertise in plan management, including technical, compliance, administration, investment, and participant solutions. • Understanding of industry and competitive best practices. • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills • Decision-making and problem-solving skills • Research skill and attention to detail • Proficiency using MS Office tools
