USACS est l'Alliance des Étudiants de Premier Cycle en Informatique de l'Université Rutgers qui organise des événements et gère des espaces collaboratifs pour les étudiants en informatique. Elle maintient des ressources telles que le Coding and Social Lounge (CSL), un centre de commande avec stations Linux, un hackerspace équipé de d'imprimantes 3D, de dispositifs robotiques et d'Oculus Rifts, ainsi qu'un Makerspace pour des projets matériels pratiques. USACS aide les étudiants à s'impliquer en dehors de la salle de classe grâce à des ateliers, des événements sociaux et l'accès à des outils et infrastructures pour réaliser des projets matériels et logiciels.

Description

• Research patient accounts to identify and resolve overpayments. • Verify payment application details for accuracy. • Analyze internal deposit and payment batches to trace deposit origins and detect duplicate postings. • Use Cedar Patient Portal to confirm payment information and initiate refunds. • Correct posting discrepancies in the Athena Billing System. • Enter cases and document corrections within the Athena system. • Perform guarantor account adjustments and process refunds. • Ensure claims are adjudicated correctly by understanding payer-side claim processes in Athena. • Maintain comprehensive system notations for communication and activity tracking. • Initiate refunds through Cedar Patient Portal or Athena Billing System. • Execute refund check processes, including reissue, void, and returned checks. • Maintain backup documentation for adjusted and refunded accounts for audit readiness. • Communicate with coworkers, management, third-party payors, and patients. • Assist with additional departmental duties as assigned.

🎯 Exigences

• High school diploma or equivalent required. • Minimum of two years combined experience in medical insurance, payment processing, or insurance follow-up preferred. • Experience with Insurance Websites/Portals/Overpayment Forms required. • Strong knowledge of Coordination of Benefits including Government and Commercial Carriers required. • Proficient in review of Explanation of Benefits and Posting required. • Strong knowledge in Payer initiated recoupments required. • Experience with AthenaOne Billing System is preferred but not mandatory. • In-depth knowledge of payment processing functions, medical insurance, government payors, and related terminology. • Proficiency in using personal computers within a Windows environment, including spreadsheet applications and data entry tools. • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. • Effective verbal and written communication skills, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. • Ability to organize workload, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities. • Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed. • Ability to sit for extended periods; occasional walking, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 15 pounds. • Must have close visual acuity to perform job duties accurately.
