Description

• Research, develop, and update accounting and auditing guidance in accordance with professional standards • Write publication-ready customer-facing materials • Develop and oversee standard technology specifications, data structures, and content for specific products • Develop, implement, and/or support company publishing technologies for electronic products and content • Conduct in-depth research and author interpretive guidance related to financial reporting and auditing • Identify and interpret new and significant financial reporting and auditing issues • Produce content for the Accounting and Auditing section of CCH AnswerConnect • Analyze and summarize standards and proposals from AICPA, PCAOB, GAO, FASB, GASB, IASB, and other standard-setting bodies • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in auditing and financial reporting • Monitor, analyze, and generate relevant content • Develop analytic content, summaries, explanations, interpretations, news articles, and white papers • Enhance existing content and develop new content within the practice area • Collaborate with external industry experts on content updates and enhancements • Research and respond to customer inquiries • Review work products for quality • Conduct competitive analysis • Assist with marketing initiatives • Advise management and teams in the area of specialization • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, industry trends, and business practices

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting • CPA • Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting and financial reporting • Audit and attest expertise • Financial reporting expertise • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • Knowledge of proper grammar and usage • 3 years of writing experience • Demonstrated ability to manage several tasks at once and ensure each is properly tracked and completed on time • Ability to make decisions and alert supervisor or other appropriate parties as to actions needed to accomplish goals • Ability to act as an advisor on advanced and broad-ranging products • Experience with PCAOB, SEC, GAGAS standards is a plus • Critical thinking utilized in development of research database • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Professional attitude, including flexibility and responsiveness to change • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Ability to lead projects across departments or areas with a variety of resource requirements and/or complexity • Excellent oral and written communication skills; attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to write final, publication-ready content with minimal oversight
