📋 Description

• Define, document, and drive business requirements for technology and process changes • Own business requirements analysis and definition/documentation • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and manage requirements through the product lifecycle • Monitor business analysis activities for alignment with project goals and stakeholder needs • Gather and document requirements through interviews and workshops • Understand business context, current state, future state, objectives, needs, and impacted users • Document requirements using customer journeys, business context diagrams, process flows, use case models, conceptual data models, and SMART requirements • Translate business requirements into functional design specifications • Identify data inputs and required flows across multiple systems • Create current- and future-state system process journey maps • Manage requirements validation, prioritization, approval, traceability, changes, impact, and risk • Partner with data experts to validate proposal feasibility • Facilitate requirements reviews and obtain stakeholder approval • Prepare business validation (UAT) plans • Plan, manage, and perform testing of application, system, and process changes or upgrades • Write test plans and develop test cases with expected results • Schedule tests with IT testing leads • Execute testing for data components with the data group • Support business users during validation • Review test results and support issue resolution • Travel as needed for divisional, team, and other in-person meetings

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years business systems analysis experience • Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience or BSA Certification • Knowledge of insurance business, including Personal Lines, Commercial Auto and Claims, and Operations • Proficiency with diagramming tools such as UML, Visio, Lucidchart, draw.io, iGrafx, Miro • Guidewire experience required • Knowledge of structured testing methodology, project lifecycle methodologies, SDLC and project management practices • Detailed technical knowledge of interrelated insurance systems and pricing algorithms • Understanding of software development approaches and requirements development • User-level knowledge of systems utilized by the division/team • Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies • Ability to understand data relationships among systems • Ability to run queries across platforms and provide analytics on results • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to communicate basic training expectations for testing • Demonstrated learning agility • Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the United States • Must not require immigration support or visa sponsorship
