📋 Description

• Carry out routine maintenance, repairs and commissioning on LV and MV variable speed drives at customer sites across the UK • Commission new and upgraded drives • Perform routine technical maintenance according to ABB’s bespoke maintenance schedules • Conduct fault-finding and repair activities at customers’ sites • Participate in a 24/7 on-call system providing emergency response to ABB contract customers • Occasionally support longer-term projects delivering upgrades and new systems in the UK and potentially offshore • Report to the Operations Manager, Motion Service • Collaborate with technical support, project, and field service engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Technical training or experience in Electrical Engineering • Industrial background • Highly motivated individual • Willingness to learn and progress both in the classroom and in the field • Strong interpersonal skills • Fault finding experience on electrical equipment • Previous experience working with Variable Speed Drives • Field Service Engineer background • Full UK driving license required
