📋 Description

• Install, upgrade, repair, calibrate, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on Vascular capital equipment and diagnostics equipment in Cath labs • Provide hardware/software field support, including demo system maintenance and preparation for congresses • Document field service interventions according to QA system requirements • Report capital equipment incidents according to QA system requirements • Provide technical support and assistance for in-house training courses and congresses • Train customer biomedical engineering departments, Abbott sales staff, and field clinical staff on system maintenance and troubleshooting • Work closely with clinicians, central dispatch, and the sales team • Drive customer satisfaction through service excellence • Travel extensively nationally and internationally according to business needs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, engineering or similar is preferred, but not essential; experience considered • Prior experience in electronics service is required • Experience with medical devices/software-based medical systems is advantageous • Strong electronic or mechanical engineering skills, including troubleshooting • Computer skills: MS Office and Linux • Familiarity with Cath lab/operating room procedures/protocols is advantageous • Willingness to be flexible, respond at short notice to scheduling requirements, and work with autonomy in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication skills • Full eligibility to work in the UK and travel to the EU/Ireland without a visa requirement
