📋 Description

• Install, commission, test and maintain roadside technology and equipment • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, electrical and network faults • Carry out preventative maintenance, repairs and equipment calibration • Troubleshoot connectivity issues involving networks, cabling and associated systems • Maintain accurate technical records and service reports • Work safely across roadside and outdoor environments • Manage assigned work independently while collaborating with customers and technical teams • Participate in on-call support and travel between regional sites, including occasional overnight stays • Perform regular driving and outdoor field work across the region

🎯 Requirements

• At least two years' hands-on experience in field engineering, telecommunications, IT infrastructure or technical maintenance • Strong technical fault-finding and equipment troubleshooting skills • Practical knowledge of networking, LAN/WAN connectivity, cabling and Microsoft operating systems • Experience installing, configuring or maintaining hardware and software • Basic electrical or wiring knowledge • A safety-first approach and confidence working independently • Good communication, organisation and technical reporting skills • A full, valid UK driving license • Experience with CCTV, fiber networks, roadside infrastructure or intelligent transport systems is advantageous but not essential • Relevant technical qualifications and safety certifications are welcomed • Employment subject to relevant pre-employment screening and compliance checks
