• Maximize business opportunities for approved Parkinson’s disease products • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Movement Disorder Specialists, Neurologists, advanced practice providers, healthcare professionals, nurses, executives, department managers, and support staff • Increase education about product benefits and risks and awareness of therapeutic gaps, consistent with approved labels • Develop new business, expand existing business, maximize resource utilization, and increase sales to achieve the assigned product portfolio sales plan • Build and maintain compliant relationships with Parkinson’s advocacy and support groups • Deliver on-label technical and scientific presentations and sales calls using approved data and resources • Understand and address customer needs and build account relationships that benefit patients and healthcare professionals • Partner with AbbVie field and in-house teams to identify, design, or adapt approaches and tactics • Serve as lead US Commercial contact for targeted accounts in the assigned geography • Create, implement, and communicate strategic and tactical plans for targeted accounts • Monitor and report sales progress and communicate with internal and external stakeholders • Attend and participate in neurology society meetings, conferences, patient programs, support groups, and advocacy events • Represent AbbVie and assigned products at events to build relationships and provide compliant product education • Channel key information and findings to internal stakeholders • Develop territory account plans, align resources, and adjust tactics based on account and geographic dynamics • Remain current on clinical, market, and payer developments related to Parkinson’s disease • Complete required AbbVie training and follow company policies and OEC/Legal procedures • Satisfy healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements for territory facilities and organizations • Represent AbbVie as a partner of choice in the Parkinson’s and Neuroscience space
• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required • 3+ years of health science field or sales experience • Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience • In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of health science sales experience with a minimum of 4 years in pharmaceutical sales • Ability to network and partner effectively across functional areas • Excellent organizational and project management skills • Demonstrated leadership skills • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders in complex environments • Must satisfy applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain them • May need to complete background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses • Must drive a personal auto or company car or truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment • Willingness to travel 25% of the time
