📋 Description

• Deliver manual, functional, regression and user acceptance testing across software releases • Create and execute test cases, analyse results and maintain traceability to requirements and user stories • Identify, document and track defects through to resolution using Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools • Support Agile delivery through sprint planning, reviews, release activities and quality assurance processes • Collaborate with developers, analysts, stakeholders and users to improve software quality and user experience • Support the SOE rollout through user guidance, feedback gathering, enhancement testing and adoption activities • Contribute to continuous improvement and quality assurance best practice across delivery teams

🎯 Requirements

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 6 or above, or an equivalent qualification • Experience in software testing, quality assurance or application support • Experience creating and executing test cases and managing software defects • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities • Ability to obtain and maintain Security Clearance • ISTQB Foundation Certification or an equivalent software testing qualification • Experience working in Agile delivery environments and using Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools • Knowledge of regression testing, UAT, risk-based testing and test design techniques • Experience supporting users through software implementation, training or process change • Understanding of TAFMIS applications, planning processes or JPA • Clear communication, with the ability to explain technical information to different audiences • Strong collaboration, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills • Resilience and adaptability when priorities or requirements change • Proactive, organised approach with a focus on continuous improvement
