📋 Description

• Conduct 1st Line of Defence Assurance (1LoDA) activities in line with JSP 822 and direction from the Training Compliance and Safety Manager, Training Requirements Authority (TRA), and Training Delivery Authority (TDA) • Produce formal training assurance reports, identifying findings, risks, and opportunities for improvement • Monitor, record, and track assurance actions • Gather, analyse, and present Internal Validation (InVal) findings • Identify trends and promote continuous improvement initiatives • Build positive relationships with stakeholders across the business • Attend meetings on behalf of the Training Compliance and Safety Manager when required • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, regulations, and guidance • Conduct assurance activities across training establishments, fire stations, and subcontracted training locations

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in Training Assurance and DSAT • Experience of conducting and/or assuring the DSAT process • Strong communication with stakeholders • Must have a full UK driver’s licence • Must be able to obtain SC • DCTS Training Audit or ISO 9001 qualification would be an advantage • Defence Trainer or equivalent
