📋 Description

• Lead the 10-person engineering team, including SRE • Set priorities, delegate, run 1:1s, and support team growth • Own technical direction and platform architecture • Set and enforce engineering principles • Write and review production code alongside the team • Improve product-to-engineering handoff, including tickets, subtasks, estimates, and refinement • Communicate roadmap, status, and risk to product and leadership • Bring business context back to the engineering team • Unblock delivery and drive predictable releases • Improve engineering practices, including AI use in development • Hire, onboard, and retain engineers • Report to the CEO and participate in the leadership team

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Head of Engineering, Engineering Director, or senior technical lead • Experience growing and shaping an engineering team or organization from the ground up • Experience in a fast-paced startup or scale-up preferred • Player-coach mentality and hands-on technical expertise • Strong experience working closely with a product function • Strong communication skills • Comfort using AI in the daily development workflow • Fluent English • Remote-first mindset • Values aligned with Own It, Push Forward, Be Real
