📋 Description

• Close sales through face-to-face interaction with customers based within assigned sales territories. • Meet with potential and existing customers to present sales proposals and inform them of product benefits and features. • Play a key role in increasing distribution and display activity by managing and negotiating with clients. • Research sales competition, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services. • Conduct professional product presentations to current Retail customers. • Stimulate market growth through new distribution and coverage in independent Retail C-Stores that are supplied by cash & carry and c-store distributors in assigned geography. • Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long lasting relationships. • Achieving sales goals and brand building presence and merchandising. • Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments. • Assist customers with ordering information and configurations; provide quotations on customer requirements and provide appropriate follow up. • Utilize iPad technology for reporting all inventory/sales made daily and weekly. • Perform any other appropriately related duty as requested by the Sales Manager.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required • 1-2 year’s sales related and/or consumer goods industry experience preferred • Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational and sales skills with the ability to work effectively with team members, peers, management and external customer contacts • Must be able to read and follow a plan-o-gram (POG) • Must possess good problem-solving skills • Must be able to use an iPad/Tablet • Must have trip planning skills and comfort with driving a commercial van (Ford Transit Connect or similar) • Be able to bend/stoop/squat/kneel throughout the work day • Be able to push/pull/reach/twist • The ideal candidate will have driven a Sprinter Van, Box Truck, Straight Truck, Step Van or like larger vehicles • Be able to lift up to 30lbs
