📋 Description

• Design and develop backend APIs for UI and platform functionality using Python and/or Node.js • Build APIs supporting campaign management, configuration, reporting, and platform operations • Develop and maintain Java-based RTB and Ad Exchange services • Work on high-throughput, low-latency real-time advertising request/response processing • Develop and maintain Python-based advertising reporting and data-processing services/scripts • Work with event and reporting pipelines using Kafka, databases, and cloud storage • Troubleshoot and optimize production services, database queries, and data pipelines • Participate in architecture, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support • Collaborate with UI, SDK, DevOps, QA, and other engineering teams

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience with Python and/or Node.js backend development • Working knowledge of Java and ability to contribute to an existing Java codebase • Knowledge of Scala is optional • Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs • Strong SQL and relational database experience • Experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming technologies • Experience with distributed, scalable backend systems • Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS • Strong debugging, performance optimization, and production troubleshooting skills • 3+ years of experience in AdTech / programmatic advertising and understanding of RTB, OpenRTB, DSPs, SSPs, Ad Exchanges, bidders, impressions, clicks, and advertising reporting • Experience building high-QPS, low-latency systems • Experience with large-scale event processing and reporting pipelines • Docker/containerized deployment and monitoring experience • 5+ years of backend/software engineering experience preferred • Ability to independently understand existing systems and take ownership across API development, RTB/Ad Exchange services, and reporting/data pipelines
