📋 Description

• Deliver small- to medium-scale projects or programmes of work for Energy Sector clients • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, to budget, and in accordance with business and technical requirements • Monitor programme progress against milestones, deadlines and budget • Provide stakeholders with progress reports and maintain awareness of project expectations • Identify risks, facilitate issue resolution, update programme budgets and escalate issues to the Senior Project Manager • Undertake contract administration, including variations, claims, technical queries and instructions, with Commercial Manager support • Produce plans and schedules and track and manage budgets using established financial systems • Advise colleagues on behaviours and compliance processes • Analyse project data to identify themes and trends and provide recommendations for decision-making • Review project processes and policies and recommend improvements to senior management • Support collaboration across the organisation to meet internal customer expectations • Advise senior management on project issues and provide subject matter expertise

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent • Relevant professional qualification or chartered status • Track record of delivering projects in a technically complex, dynamic environment with high levels of safety, security and environmental responsibility, ideally within the Energy sector or a similar regulated environment • Strong management skills, including project management, financial management, change management and facilitation • Proficiency in estimating, scheduling, programming and risk tools • Commercial acumen and ability to manage client and external stakeholder relationships • Good presentation, influencing and facilitation skills • Excellent communication and organisational skills • Ability to develop relationships and maintain effective networks • Knowledge of the managed area and understanding of the wider programme and business • Experience managing business relationships at senior-management level
