• Source, onboard, and manage carrier relationships with a focus on Mexico and cross-border operations • Negotiate competitive rates with carriers while ensuring high service quality and compliance • Monitor shipment execution, resolve service issues, and ensure on-time delivery performance • Collaborate with internal teams and agents to match capacity with customer needs • Maintain an active network of carriers specializing in Mexico, border drayage, and transload operations • Understand and communicate customs, documentation, and regulatory requirements related to cross-border freight • Provide exceptional communication in both English and Spanish to strengthen relationships with carriers and partners • Identify market trends, capacity fluctuations, and pricing opportunities within the Mexico/U.S. corridor
• 3+ years of carrier sales or capacity procurement experience, preferably in cross-border Mexico freight • Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written) • Demonstrated success in negotiating rates and managing carrier performance • Established relationships with Mexico-based and border-region carriers • Strong understanding of cross-border processes, documentation, and compliance requirements • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and TMS systems
