📋 Description

• Set and deliver regulatory strategy in line with company goals • Lead the Commercial & Key Account Management teams for M&I clients • Lead business development and drive top-line growth • Grow the top line by 10% (c. £2m in 2027) • Acquire ICP “A & B” customers, including large retailers and manufacturers • Increase revenue per customer and expand the number of services used per account • Reset the team’s ways of working by establishing clear structure, sales process and accountabilities • Lead a commercially focused, results-driven team • Acquire new business from high-potential segments • Manage client relationships and position Ashbury as a strategic partner • Secure access to senior decision makers • Develop and implement Ashbury’s regulatory management strategy in line with business goals • Lead and develop the business plan for Horizon Scanning Management • Identify changes in legislation and guidance for key countries and establish training/implementation plans for the business • Lead Knowledge Management and Knowledge Sharing Plans • Lead the development of Ashbury as an industry thought leader from a regulatory perspective • Monitor changes in industry best practice and application, ensuring standards are set for technical and regulatory teams • Represent Ashbury at relevant industry events, including ‘top table’ regulatory affairs discussions • Lead client discussions on regulatory issues to support their regulatory agenda • Ensure client services are delivered in line with commercial agreements and are profitable • Identify new business opportunities and market segments for growth • Implement efficiency strategies to increase profitability • Ensure contact matrices are included in business plans for existing and potential clients and are actionable and measurable • Build strong relationships across multiple functions and levels of key clients • Set clear performance goals, KPIs, and targets for teams, departments, or projects • Monitor individual and team performance

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in a senior regulatory affairs role • Several years of food law experience gained in a commercial, enforcement or policy-setting environment • In-depth knowledge of UK & EU food regulations
