📋 Description

• Lead and grow a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers • Hire, onboard, coach, and develop Solutions Engineers • Coach SEs on discovery, storytelling, demo excellence, product knowledge, competitive positioning, and commercial partnership with Account Executives • Create a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement • Partner with Mid-Market sales leadership on pipeline, priorities, and SE coverage • Oversee demos, trials, technical evaluations, and RFPs • Review and elevate team execution, serving as a technical expert when needed • Standardize and evolve demo workflows, trial frameworks, RFP processes, and internal product knowledge • Translate field patterns into product feedback, roadmap insights, and process improvements • Equip the team with tools, enablement, and infrastructure for complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles • Shape how Ashby sells and scales its Solutions Engineering organization

🎯 Requirements

• Experience managing or mentoring Solutions Engineers in complex, multi-stakeholder SaaS sales motions • Experience hiring, growing, and developing people • Strategic thinking about process, enablement, and operational excellence • Ability to partner with Sales Leadership and influence cross-functional leaders • Strong business acumen and ability to connect Ashby’s capabilities to measurable customer outcomes • Clear communication and ability to simplify complex concepts • Experience building systems, playbooks, processes, knowledge bases, demo environments, or similar • Empathy for Talent teams and interest in solving their challenges • Bonus: Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems or deep familiarity with TA workflows • Bonus: Experience building demo infrastructure, value frameworks, or trial structures • Bonus: Experience leading cross-functional projects in rapidly scaling organizations
