📋 Description

• Own the platform clients run on and build the AI development harness used by engineers • Build self-service infrastructure, reproducible development environments, sandboxes, guardrails, and evals for AI agents • Build QA automation pipelines, automated tests, validation gates, and release checks • Orchestrate agents across engineering, product workflows, and internal implementation tools • Strengthen AWS ECS architecture, complete the migration from the old deployment model, and bring resources under infrastructure as code • Build tenant-scoped credentials, per-tenant secrets, least-privilege access, and audit trails • Set up monitoring, alerting, tracing, on-call, and incident-response playbooks • Make application changes such as synthetic data, test hooks, and agent specifications • Ship product features in TypeScript and React • Write design notes and runbooks, review and pair with engineers, and mentor engineers in infrastructure • Collaborate closely with Product and the VP Engineering on technical direction and platform decisions • Deliver first-six-month objectives including AI-powered QA automation, ECS migration, platform codification, tenant isolation, least privilege, and monitoring foundations

🎯 Requirements

• Several years running production workloads on AWS ECS or EKS • Solid grasp of IAM, networking, and Lambda • Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation, including bringing existing hand-built resources under code • Experience scaling distributed systems through real growth in load and data • Single-tenant SaaS experience, including tenant isolation and protecting client data and credentials • Security and compliance engineering experience, including least privilege, secrets management, and evidence for SOC 2 or ISO 27001 • Production experience with on-call, incidents, post-mortems, and observability tooling such as Datadog, Grafana, or Honeycomb • Senior TypeScript and Node.js experience, plus React • Track record of shipping features end to end • Experience designing test automation and CI/CD pipelines • Experience building tooling for AI agents, including agent configuration and orchestration, MCP servers or similar integrations, evals, and automated review • Candidates must have an unrestricted and permanent right to work in the UK • No visa sponsorship is available now or in the future
