📋 Description

• Maintain and enhance existing Java applications • Design and develop new features and solutions based on business requirements • Investigate and resolve software defects, production issues, and technical problems • Work with databases, messaging systems, containers, virtual machines, and related infrastructure • Support continuous improvement, reliability, and maintainability of applications • Use AI-assisted development tools to improve development speed and efficiency • Provide software-related expertise to sales and project teams when required • Occasionally access and work within customers’ private environments • Collaborate remotely with the customer and wider engineering team • Be open to occasional travel to the Nordics, ideally once or twice per year

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level commercial experience in Java development • Strong hands-on experience with WildFly and ORM frameworks • Experience with messaging technologies, preferably RabbitMQ • Practical experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database • Understanding of containers, virtual machines, and enterprise application infrastructure • Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools, ideally AWS Kiro or comparable solutions • Confident communication in English • Proactive, self-driven, collaborative, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment • Experience in welding, industrial, or manufacturing domain is advantageous but not required
